Susanna is a Doctor in Clinical Psychology who brings knowledge of mental health, Trauma Sensitive Yoga, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to her yoga classes. She has trained in Mexico and Australia in Hatha style, with Dave Emerson in the USA in Trauma Sensitive Yoga, and has attended mindfulness based Stress Reduction Trainings with Jon Kabat Zinn in Rome.
Susanna’s classes contain alignment cues, postures to elicit strength and flexibility, and options to work at your own level. The prime intention is to take you on a journey to practice skills useful in everyday life. Every sensation and mind body experience becomes an opportunity to practice how we deal with life and it’s challenges by learning to “tune in” and respond with mindfulness rather than with reactivity and old patterns of behaviour.
