Our Hatha Yoga classes are similar to our Slow Gentle Yoga classes but take a more classical approach to the practice of the physical postures (asanas) and yogic breathing (pranayama).
They are gentle yoga classes in which each traditional asana is guided with care so that you learn how to adapt the pose to you and your body in a comfortable way.
There is a focus on cultivating the deep awareness of your body, breath, and mind and you will be encourage to tune in a guide your practice from within.
The class concludes with a guided Yoga Nidra (meditation), to leave you feeling calm and grounded.
The practice of these basic traditional yoga postures and pranayama practices can bring strength, flexibility, vitality, and balance to the body and also nurture a healthy mind and sense of well being. Regular practice of Hatha Yoga creates a subtle but deep healing energy that can enable the practitioner to live a more full and rewarding life.
