Remedial Massage

Remedial Massage techniques work with the soft tissues (muscles, ligaments, tendons, fascia) to release tense, knotted areas to mobilise stiff areas and to treat injuries. Remedial massage is effective in relieving muscle related discomfort, pain and soreness and can also be used to prevent muscular problems by improving the condition of soft tissues.

Remedial Massage therapists are guided by an in depth knowledge of anatomy and physiology and they work holistically, treating the whole body and tracing the discomfort as far as possible back to the original cause.

Remedial Massage may involve some deep tissue work. Remedial Massage is effective in treating a wide range of conditions, such as:

  • Neck and back pain
  • Tension headaches
